Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
This year's gift — paediatric care for those who need it most.
We wish all our clients, partners, suppliers and dear colleagues a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. We go on Christmas leave knowing that we have once again contributed to Sweden's security and safety. As a result, we want to give back to those who need both security and safety in their everyday lives. We have chosen to direct this year's company donation to Beredskapslyftet and their effort to rebuild Ukraine's largest children's hospital.
On 8 July 2024, Russia attacked Ukraine's largest children's hospital, Okhmatdyt in Kyiv. An act that shocked and was condemned around the world.
400 children were evacuated to the basement. Two adults died: a doctor and a grandfather. Around 30 people were injured, including eight children. The toxicology building and the kidney and liver transplant ward were destroyed. The intensive care unit was left empty. Patients awaiting transplants, children with cancer and premature babies became even more vulnerable.
The attack provoked strong reactions worldwide and the need for external support is great. This is where Rote's contribution will make a real difference.
