A strong start to the new year
The need for security and security-protection competence is greater than ever. We are therefore delighted to introduce a strong reinforcement to our growing consultant team.
In mid-January, Mikael Ljungwald joined us as a senior consultant in security and security protection, focused on private and public sector clients. Mikael joins us from a senior consultant role at an industry peer, where he primarily worked on assignments within security protection, as well as matters relating to civil defence.
Prior to that, Mikael served in the Swedish Armed Forces as a professional officer from 2006 to 2024. For most of that period he was assigned to the Norrbotten Regiment, I 19, and from 2019 to the Headquarters and its operational elements.
Mikael holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the Swedish Defence University with a focus on crisis preparedness and security. This has given him a strong understanding of civil preparedness and civil-defence matters, which is highly relevant today. His core competence lies in security protection, and given the choice, analysis is what he most enjoys. That is most likely where the market will see Mikael in his new role at Rote — based at our Stockholm office, with Sweden and Europe as his workplace.
